HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Jacksonville High School for coach Derek Abbey … Placed first at the county tournament and earned all-conference honors while recording a 21-8 mark as a prep senior … Registered a 39-13 clip as a junior and grabbed county championship and all-conference laurels as well … Also lettered in cross country for the Cardinals.

PERSONAL: The son of Krisanda and Glendon Ross … Has an older brother, Tyler, who is a currently a member of the UNCP wrestling team … Also has a younger sister, Angelina … Maintained a 3.5 cumulative grade point average at Jacksonville High School … A business administration major at UNCP.
