The Voice of the Braves, Alex Inbornone enters his third season at UNC Pembroke.
Inbornone was named the newest UNCP Sports Network director in April of 2023. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of each UNCP Athletics home broadcast which includes play-by-play broadcasting, setting up cameras and audio equipment, creating in-broadcast graphics, and hiring and training interns to ensure each broadcast is produced smoothly.Â
Along with his broadcasting role, Inbornone also assists in creating video content that can be seen across all social media platforms for UNCP Athletics.Â
Prior to his position as UNCP, he freelanced as a play-by-play broadcaster in the state of Florida, ranging from high school athletics to collegiate athletics. Before his time as a freelancer, Inbornone served as the voice of Palm Beach Atlantic University Athletics for Men's and Women's Basketball, Women's Volleyball, and Softball.Â
A Lake Mary, Florida native, Inbornone received his bachelor's degree in Sports Broadcasting from Palm Beach Atlantic University in May 2022.
