A former track & field student-athlete for UNC Pembroke, Aly Artman enters her second year on the coaching staff for Braves in 2025-26.
Artman competed in throws as a Brave, and in 2024 took the bronze medal in the weight throw at the Conference Carolinas Indoor Championships, while bringing home champion honors in the discus at the Conference Carolinas Outdoor Championships. The Hampstead native was also named to the 2023-24 USTFCCCA Outdoor All-Region team and was selected as UNCP women's indoor track & field Field Athlete of the Year.
Artman was named the 2023-24 UNC Pembroke Athletic Performance Athlete of the Year and still currently holds four of the five weightlifting records for the UNC Pembroke women's track & field program.
