A former two-time nationally-ranked triple jumper at UNC Pembroke, Kendrick Lewis enters his second season as assistant coach with the UNC Pembroke track & field teams in 2025-26, and works directly with the jumps and sprints events athletes.
Lewis helped lead the indoor and outdoor programs to runner-up finishes at the Conference Carolinas Championships in both 2023 and 2024.Â
The Raleigh native was a three-time Field MVP Award winner at UNC Pembroke, and also spent a year as an intern with the Athletic Performance staff where he helped design workout plans.
Lewis graduated from UNC Pembroke in December 2023 with a degree in exercise & sport science, and will earn a master's degree in sports administration in December 2025.
