Mallory Ardeeser Headshot 2026

Mallory Ardeeser

Mallory Ardeeser joined the coaching staff in September 2026 as an assistant coach overseeing pitching, outfield and slap hitters.

As a player, Ardeeser was a member of the 2017 Georgia Military College team that was GCAA conference tournament champions and made an NJCAA World Series appearance and a top-10 finish. She had a 6-1 record with a 2.27 ERA for GMC. She finished off her final three years of collegiate softball at Georgia State, where she logged 43 appearances over her time with the Panthers. She earned her first win as a Panther in her debut season with the team and earned 12 starts over her junior and senior seasons with the team.

Ardeeser started coaching as the pitching coach with the Belhaven Blazers in the spring 2021 season. Ardeeser was part of the 2021 ASC coaching staff of the year and the Blazers were the 2021 regular season co-conference champions. The team also made its first NCAA postseason appearance in school history and earned its first NCAA postseason win. The team also was ranked as high as 7th in NCAA DIII. She coached the pitcher of the year in the conference that season. While with the Blazers, Ardeeser's pitching staff posted the team's lowest ERA since 2016 (2.20 team ERA), had a pitcher receive 1st team All-American honors, seven ASC pitcher of the week awards and two national pitcher of the week awards during the 2021 season.

After her time with the Blazers, Ardeeser headed to Piedmont College as the pitching coach for the Lions in 2022. Piedmont won the USA South conference championship and went to the NCAA regionals. Ardeeser’s staff boasted a 2.29 ERA good for 2nd in the conference and 1st in the West Division. Ardeeser had two of her pitchers named USA South All Conference and had the pitcher of the year for the West Division. One pitcher also was named All Region as well.

She then made the move to Southern Wesleyan in the summer of 2022 and worked there for four seasons as the program's assistant coach. Ardeeser took the last placed pitching staff in Conference Carolinas to 2nd place in her last two seasons at SWU. In 2025, her staff boasted a 2.99 ERA which was top 50 in all of DII. In 2026, her staff eclipsed that mark with a 2.44 ERA which ranked top 25 in DII, while also being top five in the country in shutouts. Ardeeser coached two All-Conference performers in 2026 in Olivia Haag and Emily Collins. Haag has the most wins in school history at SWU under the leadership of Ardeeser. She leaves SWU as being part of the winningest coaching staff in softball history with 94 wins. She helped bring home two Southwest Division Championships in 2025 and 2026 along with winning the most games in single season history twice with 30 in 2025 and 37 wins in 2026.

Ardeeser received her bachelor's of business administration of finance from Georgia State in 2020. She then received her MBA from Belhaven University in 2022. Ardeeser resides in Raeford with her husband Clay, and their daughter Tahlia.
