PEMBROKE – Senior
Stacey Scott turned in the UNC Pembroke soccer team's first hat trick in more than four years, and the Braves got a lights-out effort from their defense, on the way to a 5-0 victory over USC Aiken on Monday evening at Lumbee River EMC Stadium.
It was the third win in the last four outings for the Braves (6-4-0, 3-3-0 PBC) who have outscored opponents 17-0 in Pembroke this season, including clean sheets against a pair of Peach Belt Conference foes. The setback kept the Pacers (2-9-0, 0-6-0) winless in 18 meetings all-time with the Black & Gold, including a 0-9-1 clip at Lumbee River EMC Stadium.
