HOW IT HAPPENED |
1ST HALF |
The Braves traded baskets with the Hurricanes for much of the first six minutes of play before Spencer Levi's layup at the 13:56 mark sparked the visitors on a mild scoring spurt that helped pad the lead. UNCP pushed its advantage out to double digits, 29-19, on a short jumper from Carson Mounce with 8:51 left before intermission, and eventually took a 47-28 lead into the locker rooms. |
2ND HALF |
A 3-pointer from James Murray-Boyles just seven minutes into the second half put the Braves out in front by 20 points, 63-43, and Akia Pruitt's fastbreak dunk at the 6:52 mark made it a 75-45 affair. Cam Hamilton's 3-pointer on a fastbreak with less than a minute left provided the final. |
