GAME REPLAY
SET 1 I 17-25 UNC Pembroke captured five of the first seven points in the set, but Lenoir-Rhyne answered by capturing nine of the next 10 points to take the lead for good. The Bears committed just three attack errors in the opening set, and used four-straight points late in the set to secure the victory as well.
SET 2 I 25-14 The Braves got a service ace from Bailee Jones to open the set and never looked back on the way to evening up the match at one set apiece. UNCP lead 22-10 after a kill from Ashley Caesar, and traded side outs with the Bears for much of the remainder of the set.
SET 3 I 16-25 Lenoir-Rhyne offset an early 4-1 deficit by tacking up five-straight points and did not trail for the remainder of the set. The Black & Gold cut its deficit back to five points, 18-13, thanks to a kill by Shannon Skryd, but the Bears piled on four consecutive points to pull away for good.
SET 4 I 21-25 The Braves controlled a good portion of the fourth set and held a late 18-15 lead, but the Bears strung together four-straight points to take a 19-18 advantage. A bad set allowed UNCP to knot the score up at 20 points apiece, but the Bears rebounded with four-straight points to regain control.
