MISENHEIMER – Freshman
Jaycie Knight captured runner-up honors in the 100-yard Backstroke, as well as swam the opening leg of a solid performance in the 200-yard Medley Relay, to pace the UNC Pembroke swimming & diving team to a split at the Pfeiffer Double Dual on Saturday afternoon in Merner Gymnasium.
The Braves downed Pfeiffer, 104-72, to pick up their first win over the Falcons since the 2017-18 campaign. Converse tacked up a 132-49 win over the Black & Gold to stay unbeaten (2-0) in the series.
Jaiden Estrada picked up third-place showings in both the 50- and 100-yard Freestyle events, while Bianca Batemen finished third for the Braves in the 100-yard Butterfly as well, while
Megan Hunter was third in the 500-yard Freestyle.
UNCP will be back in action again on Thursday when it makes the short trip to Laurinburg for the St. Andrews Tri-Meet at O'Herron Pool. The Braves will face William Peace in addition to the host-Knights.
