DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The UNC Pembroke soccer team used a second half goal by
Rilee Seering to knot the game at one apiece, but 20
th-ranked and Peach Belt Conference-leading North Georgia found the back of the net in the 76
th minute to secure the 2-1 win over the Braves on Saturday afternoon at the UNG Soccer Complex.
The setback stopped a three-game series win streak for the Braves (6-2-0, 2-1-0 PBC) who had not tasted defeat in the series since their last trip to Dahlonega, Ga., on Nov. 3, 2017. It was the third-straight win for North Georgia (7-1-0, 4-0-0) who improved to 4-0-0 at home this season, and improved to 5-2-1 all-time against the Braves at the UNG Soccer Complex.
