CHARLOTTE – Freshman Sarah Morden broke the program's school record in the 100-yard Breaststroke by nearly two seconds, while both relay teams in the evening session established new school records as well, to highlight action for the UNC Pembroke swimming team on the second day of the Queens-hosted Fall Frenzy.

Morden eclipsed teammate and fellow newcomer Ketlyn Rodriguez Matos's month-old record in the 100-yard Breaststroke by 1.97 seconds, and was a part of the 800-yard Freestyle Relay squad that bested a year-old program superlative by more than 50 seconds. Megan Hunter swam the opening leg of that relay, while Karina Ramosbarbosa and Natalia Sarmiento swam the last two legs, respectively.

Rodriguez Matos, Sarmiento, Bianca Bateman and Jaycie Knight tacked up another school record to close out a successful day for the Braves inside the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center. That quartet surpassed the school record in the 200-yard Medley Relay by 0.44 seconds.

Of UNCP's 12 entries into Saturday's individual events, 10 produced new personal best times as well.

The Black & Gold will close out action at the three-day Fall Frenzy Invitational on Sunday. Knight and Mary Thorn will lead off action for the Braves in the 200-yard Backstroke which is scheduled for a 9:30 a.m. start.
