Flagler Rallies Back From Two Deficits, Tops Baseball In 10th

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla.Bobby Dixon and Zach Ghelfi each hit home runs to give the UNC Pembroke baseball team a 5-3 lead in the seventh, but Peach Belt Conference-leading Flagler rallied for a pair of runs in the eighth and used a wild pitch to push across the winning run in the 10th on the way to a series-clinching 6-5 victory over the Braves on Saturday evening.

It was the third-straight loss for the Braves (19-25, 9-17 PBC) who fell to 3-11 in games decided by two runs or less this season, including a 2-10 mark in 1-run contests. The Saints (27-17, 18-8) pushed their win streak out to 11 games, and picked up their first series victory over the Black & Gold since 2015.
