PEMBROKE – The UNC Pembroke soccer team used a late second half goal to even up the score at one apiece, and then and then got a 96
th minute goal from
Rilee Seering to propel the Braves to a 2-1 victory over defending Peach Belt Conference champion Columbus State on Saturday afternoon at Lumbee River EMC Stadium.
Saturday's result marked the 16
th-straight home win for the Braves (5-1-0, 1-0-0 PBC), who tacked up their third win over Columbus State (4-4-0, 0-2-0 PBC) in Pembroke as well. The squads have now split the last six matchups.

+ Saturday afternoon's victory stretched UNCP's home unbeaten streak out to 19-straight games (16-straight victories).
