<span style="font-size:16px;"></span><span style="font-size:16px;"><strong>PEMBROKE</strong> – The UNC Pembroke baseball team sent eight batters to the plate on the way to a 4-run first inning to provide more than enough run support for a solid outing from newcomer Jalen Scott, and the Braves clinched their weekend series with Claflin on the shoulders of a 10-1 victory over the Panthers on Saturday.<br />  <br /> The result helped the Braves (12-5, 6-2 PBC) stretch their win streak out to five games – their longest winning skein since tacking up five-straight victories in March of last season.
