WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. – Nick Daggett, Logan Seliga, Garrett Hill and Ryan Monk all posted runner-up finishes in their respective weight brackets to lead the 23^rd-ranked UNC Pembroke wrestling team to a second-place finish at the Mountain East Conference Championships on Saturday evening.
 
Six wrestlers captured individual league titles for 12^th-ranked West Liberty who racked up 152 points to top the 8-team field on Saturday. The Braves were second with 119-1/2 points, while 24^th-ranked Notre Dame finished third with 99-1/2 points. Daggett, Hill, Monk and Seliga raked in all-MEC honors for the Black & Gold by virtue of top-3 finishes, as did teammates Luke McDonough, Nate Golmon, Caleb Grau and Jovaun Johnson.
 
The Braves will close out the regular season portion of their 2020-21 schedule on Thursday by taking on a pair of region foes at Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court. UNCP will lock arms with Limestone (3-2) in a 5:30 p.m. contest, before battling Lander (4-2) at 7 p.m. Both matches are closed events and spectators will not be admitted.
