BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Senior
Gillian Manning wrapped up opening-night competition at the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships on Friday with a top-20 finish in the 100 Yard Butterfly, as well as a 27
th-place tally in the 200 Yard Freestyle.
The Fayetteville native covered the 100 Yard Butterfly in 56.38 seconds on the way to an 18
th-place performance. Her time of 1:51.70 landed her in 27
th place.
Manning will wrap up her portion of competition at the NCAA Championships on Friday when she competes in both the 200 Yard Butterfly and the 500 Yard Freestyle. The preliminary rounds of both events are scheduled to get underway at 11 a.m.
