PEMBROKE – A Social Media Night match will open the September slate, while the annual Dig Pink matchup will make its annual return in October, with the release of the marketing & promotions schedule for the 2021 UNC Pembroke volleyball season.
 
Taco Tuesday will be held multiple times throughout the season, with the first being at the home opener for the Braves on September 7.
 
The Black and Gold will host Social Media Night on September 24 as the Braves host Chowan for their first home match as a Conference Carolinas member. Fans are encouraged to return to Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court on September 28 for the program's inaugural Most Valuable Professors Night as select members of UNCP's faculty will be recognized prior to the start of the match. The second of third Taco Tuesday events will take place in conjunction with MVP Night on September 28, while the final installment of Taco Tuesday is slated for October 5.
 
The Braves will break out the pink on October 8 for its annual Dig Pink match presented by Scotland Health Care, followed by a Youth Volleyball Day on October 15. All interested teams should register by emailing Jennifer.Smith@uncp.edu. Both students and fans alike can purchase the 2021 Dig Pink shirts closer to the event.
 
The Braves will throw it back to the 90's on November 5 for Flashback Friday, with the marketing & promotion schedule culminating on November 10 with a Battle of I-95 tilt against Francis Marion when the Braves honor their senior class on Senior Day in Pembroke.
