| MATCH REPLAY |
| SET 1 I 17-25 |
Valdosta State took advantage of five blocks and eight attack errors by the Braves in an attempt to set the tone early. The squads split the first 18 points of the opening set before Valdosta State strung together five-straight points to go ahead for good. VSU set up a set-point opportunity for itself off of a kill from Jessie Mooney, and then put point No. 25 on the board courtesy of block assists by Grace Daugherty and Jojo Smith. |
| SET 2 I 22-25 |
The Blazers were tagged for 10 attack errors in the second set, but the Braves were unable to completely dig themselves out of an early hole. Valdosta State led 11-4 following a kill from Jessie Mooney, but the Black & Gold climbed back into the set with a 12-4 run that eventually gave the visitors a 16-15 advantage following an attack error by the hosts. A back-and-forth affair the rest of the way out, the Blazers would inevitably finish off set No. 2 with three-straight points, including two via kill. |
| SET 3 I 17-25 |
Valdosta State hit .310 at the net, while adding three blocks and a trio of service aces, to close out the match victory in set three. The Braves took a 10-9 lead via an attack error, but the Blazers captured 10 of the next 12 points to grab back all of the momentum. |

| SERIES NOTE |
| Saturday's matchup with the sixth all-time meeting (UNCP leads, 3-2) between UNCP and the Blazers in a series that dates back to the 2003 season. It was the first time that either side has hosted a matchup, however. The Braves won two matchups with VSU in 2003, and stretched their series win streak out to three matches in 2007. VSU swept the Black & Gold at the USC Aiken Invitational to end its series drought in 2019. |

| MATCH REPLAY |
| SET 1 I 25-17 |
The Braves hit an eye-popping .500 at the net in the opening set and never trailed on the way to gaining the early advantage in the match. The Rams pulled to within a single point, 9-8, via a rare attack error by the Braves in the first stanza, but UNCP secured four of the next five points to put some distance between them and ASU for good. |
| SET 2 I 25-21 |
UNCP fought off nine attack errors and an early four-point deficit to take control of the match with a big victory in set No. 2. Albany State used one of those attack errors to take a 10-6 lead, but the Braves responded with four-straight points to even the set up. The Black & Gold took the lead for good, 13-12, thanks to a bad set by the Rams, and then scored five of the next seven points before hitting cruise control. |
| SET 3 I 25-17 |
Fifteen kills and a .242 hitting percentage was all that the Braves needed to close out the team win in the third set. UNCP trailed 11-10 following an attack error, but the Black & Gold put together a 6-1 scoring spurt after that that made all the difference. A 5-1 run moments later raked in the rest of the momentum. |
