Braves, Patriots Battle To Draw Once Again

FLORENCE, S.C. – After a scoreless first half, Francis Marion's Tehya Dave put the Patriots ahead in the 48th minute, but Sarah Bonifant's first career goal in the 56th minute gave the Braves the equalizer, as the two squads battled to a 1-1 draw for the second time this season in Conference Carolinas action Saturday evening at Hartzler Field.

Anna Grossheim picked up the assist on Bonifant's goal.

The Braves (6-2-3, 5-0-3 CC) moved to 5-7-5 in the all-time series with the Patriots (6-1-3, 5-0-2 CC), while the two squads have now played to a draw in five consecutive series meetings.
