| HOW IT HAPPENED |
| 1ST QUARTER |
| Flagler opened the first quarter with a layup from Marley Smith setting the pace early. Jessica Dowdy contributed two consecutive fastbreak layups, extending their lead to 6-0. Grace Ikenegbu put UNC Pembroke on the board with a free throw at 5:22, followed by a layup at 3:03 to trim the deficit back to 9-3. Anastasia Sinclair capitalized on a fastbreak opportunity with a layup at 2:48, but the Saints responded with a 3-pointer from Aspen Weeks to push their lead out to 12-5. The quarter ended with Flagler leading 15-9, as Emerson Kutz added a late 3-pointer to extend Flagler's advantage. |
| 2ND QUARTER |
| Flagler maintained control throughout the second quarter, consistently extending their lead over the Braves. Gabby Bush was instrumental, contributing with two layups and a successful free throw, culminating in a 3-point play at 6:37 to give the Saints a 23-14 lead. Despite a late surge by the Braves, with Camille Kerridge hitting a 3-pointer at 1:16 and Shaymiah Bailey sinking two free throws with 45 seconds left to play in the half, Flagler concluded the quarter leading 36-27, highlighted by Natalie Herrin's final free throws with five seconds remaining. |
| 3RD QUARTER |
| The third quarter featured a balanced effort from both teams, with Flagler maintaining control. Gabby Bush opened the scoring with a free throw at 9:46, and Marley Smith added to the lead, 43-30, with a jumper at 7:26. Despite the UNCP efforts, including a layup from Grace Ikenegbu at 3:35 to work the deficit back to 51-35, but the hosts would hold a 52-40 lead heading into the final stanza. |
| 4TH QUARTER |
| In the fourth quarter, Flagler maintained a lead, propelled by Marley Smith's early layup and free throw, which increased their advantage to 55-40. The Braves responded with a jumper from Grace Ikenegbu at 7:39, narrowing the gap to 59-42. Despite a series of turnovers, the Braves found momentum with Bre'Asia Washington's layup at 2:09, bringing the score to 63-58. However, Flagler's consistent scoring, including critical free throws from Natalie Herrin at the 1:00 mark, kept them ahead. In the final seconds, UNC Pembroke's Natalie Evington hit a 3-pointer, closing the score to 70-67, but it was not enough to secure the comeback, as Flagler held on to win. |

+ Bre'Asia Washington finished with a team-high 16 points on a 7-for-9 shooting performance. The junior pulled down two rebounds and had two assists in 21 minutes of action.
+ Grace Ikenegbu went 6-for-11 from the floor to highlight a career-high 15 points. The junior nearly registered a double-double with nine rebounds to go along with three steals and one assist.
