PEMBROKE – A pair of events hosted by Wingate, as well a trip north to the Lehigh University-hosted Paul Short Run in October highlight the six-event UNC Pembroke cross country schedule that was released on Tuesday by Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Peter Ormsby.
 
The Braves will officially begin their season on September 5 when they travel to Spartanburg, S.C., for the Converse Kick Off at Milliken Research Park. The Black & Gold will then head to Wingate for the the Bulldog Stampede on September 20, followed by a road trip to Bethlehem, Pa. for the Paul Short Run on October 3. 
 
UNCP will close out the regular season portion of the schedule on October 10 as it heads to Charlotte to compete in the Queens-hosted Royals Challenge. 
 
The Braves will then travel to Kernersville for the Conference Carolinas Championships on October 24 at the Ivey Redmon Sports Complex, before diving into the NCAA postseason on November 8 when they travel back to Wingate for the NCAA Southeast Regional.
 
The 2025 NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships are scheduled for November 22 in Kenosha, Wisc.
