GREENVILLE, S.C. – Following a successful 2024-25 season that saw the UNC Pembroke swim team win the program's second consecutive Conference Carolinas championship, the Braves have been tabbed as a favorite to win the title for the 2025-26 season with the release of the Conference Carolinas Coaches Poll.
The Black & Gold received a total of 34 points and four first-place votes, and stayed just ahead of Emmanuel, who tallied 31 points and one first place votes. Montevallo picked up 25 points and two first-place votes to round out the top three.
Coaches are not permitted to vote for their own teams.
The Braves will kick off the 2025 season on September 27 they host Campbell. The meet begins at noon at the Sue Walsh Swimming Pool.
