UNC Pembroke maintained defensive pressure and capitalized on turnovers to close the half with a 45-26 advantage.
2ND HALF
UNC Pembroke maintained control over Converse throughout the second half, ultimately securing a decisive 88-68 victory. Converse's Jordyn Surratt opened the scoring with a layup just nine seconds into the half, but the Braves quickly responded with contributions from Moe Bangura and Dallas Whitney, who each converted key layups. Quay Watson, with a notable 3-pointer cushioned the UNCP lead, 70-43 with 8:15 left to play in the half.
