GREENVILLE, S.C. – After helping the UNC Pembroke men's basketball team to a pair of wins on the road last week, sophomore Quay Watson has been named as the Conference Carolinas Offensive Player of the Week presented by Athletic Solutions, league officials announced Monday afternoon.

A native of Charlotte, Watson came off the bench in both games and averaged 13.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Watson started the week with 10 points and two rebounds at Chowan and closed out the week with 17 points and five rebounds at Erskine. The sophomore matched a career-high with 5 three-pointers at Erskine. 

Watson is shooting 41.9 percent from the field and is averaging 12.5 points per game.
