UNCP answered back with an eight-play, 65-yard scoring drive, highlighted by a 26-yard catch from Aaron Osborne and back-to-back 10-yard runs from Josh Ehrlich to enter the red-zone. Ehrlich would eventually connect with Malik Brown for a 13-yard touchdown to reclaim the lead. (10-7 UNCP)
2ND QUARTER

The Black & Gold answered right back again, this time covering 59 yards in 11 plays. Jonathan Barnett hauled in a 14-yard reception, while Brown added a 10-yard grab to enter the red-zone. Ehrlich went back to Brown on third down for an eight-yard touchdown to jump back out front with just eight seconds left in the half. (17-14 UNCP)
3RD QUARTER
The Braves got the ball first coming out of halftime and quickly put together a scoring drive as Jake Davids ran twice for 12 yards before Ehrlich found Barnett for a 53-yard catch-and-run touchdown to cap off the three-play, 65-yard drive. (24-14 UNCP)

Chowan once again countered, putting together an eight-play, 75-yard scoring drive, aided by three catches by Amir Alexander for 43 yards, the last one for a 16-yard touchdown. (24-21 UNCP)

UNCP stretched its lead with another 11-play scoring drive, this one covering 53 yards.
