DURHAM – Sofia Skidmore broke an outdoor school record for the second time this season to highlight action at the Duke Twilight meet Sunday evening.

Skidmore crossed in 2:10.76 in the 800 meter run as the top Division II finisher and took 37th overall at the Division I-heavy meet. The time broke Erman Jepleting's record from the 2021 season, while also hitting the NCAA Provisional standard time.

Malea Bennewitz turned in a personal-best time of 4:44.39 in the 1500 meter run, finishing fourth among Division II entries and 76th overall.
