MOUNT OLIVE – UNC Pembroke posted three top-three finishes to highlight action at the Mount Olive First Chance meet Friday.

The men's 4x100 meter relay team of Jacobe Jones, Shamar Fields, Calen McKinney, and Kell Simpson took second with a time of 40.75, while Jacobe Jones was third in the men's 200 meter with a time of 21.36. Kyleigh Pollock took third in the women's triple jump with a mark of 11.45 meters and was the only UNCP female to compete at the meet. Kell Simpson posted the lone personal-best mark, crossing in 54.99 to take fourth in the men's 400 meter hurdles.
