KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches organization has once again announced UNC Pembroke as a College Team Academic Award winner. This award recognizes exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. 

To earn this award, teams must post an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. This is the 14^th straight season the Braves have earned this award, and 16^th time overall.

As a squad, the Black & Gold recorded a GPA of 3.577 and saw 16 players record at least a 3.0 GPA with 12 logging a 3.5 GPA or better. 

The Braves will officially open its 2026 season on September 6 as they hit the road to take on Belmont Abbey. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. at Alumni Field.
