BOGART, Ga. -  Catherine DeSiena carded a team-best two-under-par 70 in the second round of action to help position the UNC Pembroke golf team in a tie for first place at the 2nd Annual Golden Mane Classic.

DeSiena (+7) leads the tournament and is three strokes ahead of Ella Wiklander of Belmont Abbey who sits in second place. Ella Reed (+16) is in a five-way tie for ninth place after a two round total of 160, while Maya Fitzgerald (+21) is in a tie for 16th place. Ella Woo (+23) finished the first two rounds in a three-way tie for 18th place, while Taylor Black (+32) is tied for 32nd place. 

The Braves will play the final round of the 2nd Annual Golden Mane Classic on Tuesday.
