BOGART, Ga. -  Ella Reed and Ella Woo both carded a six-over-par 78 in the final round of action to help the UNC Pembroke golf team to a first-place finish at the 2nd Annual Golden Mane Classic on Tuesday afternoon at the Jennings Mill Country Club. 

Catherine DeSiena (+16) finished in second place and five strokes behind Ella Wiklander of Belmont Abbey, who won the individual tournament with an 11-over-par. Reed (+22) moved up on the leaderboard into third place, while Ella Woo (+29) also made a jump on the leaderboard and finished in a tie for 15th place. Maya Fitzgerald (+34) stayed inside the top-20 placing 18th, while Taylor Black (+44) finished tied for 26th place. 

The tournament title marks the first since the Black & Gold win the 2023 Conference Carolinas Championship. 

The Braves will return to action on October 4 for the Ladies Glassy Mountain Autumn Classic. The North Greenville-hosted tournament will take place at The Cliffs at Glassy in Landrum, S.C.
