2008 (SOPHOMORE): A second team selection to the ICAA all-NCAA Independent squad … Started 11 games for the Braves at right tackle … Integral part of offensive line that ranked 10th nationally in sacks allowed (1.0/game) … Saw 50 or more snaps in seven contests, including a season-best 68 against both Jacksonville and North Greenville.

BEFORE UNCP: Played one season at Chattanooga (2007), but redshirted as a freshman for the Mocs.

HIGH SCHOOL: A decorated lineman at Elizabethton High School for coach Eddie Pless … Earned all-county, all-conference, all-region and all-state awards following phenomenal senior campaign … Also garnered all-East honors, as well as team most valuable lineman and Lacy offensive lineman honors.
