2007 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Played in all 11 games for UNCP, with one start to his credit … Amassed 16 tackles (11 solo), including 3-1/2 tackles for loss … Also registered 1-1/2 sacks … Turned in at least three tackles against three opponents … Booked a pair of tackles, including one for loss, against Greensboro … Tallied three tackles against consecutive opponents, Jacksonville and Chowan, including a trio of solo stops against the Hawks … Tallied a sack assist at Concord, and registered a sack at North Greenville as well.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time all-conference and all-region selection at Seventy-First High School under coach Chuck Marrs … Was selected to play in the Shrine Bowl following a senior season in which he helped pace the Falcons to a 8-4 record and their second-straight playoff appearance … Was also a standout on the wrestling team for the Falcons.
