AS A FRESHMAN AT LENOIR-RHYNE (2012): Played in two games … Tallied a 1-yard sack in the season opener at Concord … Also logged a solo tackle at Carson-Newman.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at A.L. Brown High School for coach Mike Newsome … Registered 42 tackles, six pass break-ups, three forced fumbles and two interceptions as a senior in leading the Wonders to an 11-2 season and their fourth-straight conference championship … Also scored a defensive touchdown … Earned second-straight all-conference and all-county nods, while also being lauded with conference defensive player of the year accolades … Also captained his team as a senior and earned his team’s Gang Green Award and Best Defensive Back honor.

PERSONAL: The son of Okeya Hollis and Kevin Hammonds … Has two brothers – Cordera and Kheni – and two sisters – Nyshia and Zahrea … Maintained a 3.3 cumulative grade point average at A.L. Brown High School … An exercise & sports science major at UNCP.
