HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at T.W. Andrews High School for coach Rodney Mckoy … Helped lead Red Raiders to a 14-1 record and the state championship … Earned first team all-area, all-conference and all-state laurels after amassing 37 tackles and nine interceptions … Also scored a pair of touchdowns on interception returns, while also adding an additional score on special teams … Led state in interceptions and served as a team captain for the state championship game … Also scored game-winning touchdown in state title game … Also lettered in basketball and track & field for the Raiders … Earned all-conference nods in basketball as a junior … Played summer (AAU) basketball with the Greensboro Warriors … Helped lead organization to a 51-3 record.
