HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Southeast Raleigh High School for coach Daniel Finn … Recorded 94 tackles as a prep senior, including 21-1/2 tackles for loss in leading the Bulldogs to a 9-3 record and a deep run in the state playoffs … Also turned in 5-1/2 sacks … Recorded 35 pancake blocks and a pair of rushing touchdowns as a utility player on offense … Earned all-area, all-conference and HighSchoolOT.com All-Overtime Team honors … Was also named team most valuable player and earned second-straight academic all-conference laurels … Tallied 55 tackles in eight games as a junior … Also grabbed four sacks … Also lettered in track & field for Southeast Raleigh.
