Prepped at Barstow High School under coach Tynelle Olivas … A four-year letterman in volleyball and a letterman in track and field … During her senior year, she was named the Barstow High Most Valuable Player and played and started in 49 games … Tallied 197 assists, 115 digs, 32 kills and 26 blocks … A two-time selection to the Desert Sky League All-League first team … Earned DSL honorable mention laurels and all-area first team laurels … As a junior she played and started in 62 games … Notched 254 assists, 162 digs, 14 blocks and 12 kills as a junior … In 2010, she received Mojare Rive League-and-Desert Sky League all-area first-team laurels … Also played club volleyball for the Rancho Valley – 18's Navy team for Coach Shannon and started as an all-around setter as a junior.
