2009 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Played in nine games for UNCP … Caught two passes for 11 yards and a touchdown … A mainstay on an offensive line that paved the way for the nation’s ninth-ranked rushing attack … Scored lone touchdown of campaign on first career catch – a one-yard strike at Fairmont State … Also caught a 10-yard pass at Frostburg State.

2008 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted. Did not see varsity action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at West Johnston High School for coach Kwame Dixon … Helped lead Wildcats to a 7-5 record, including a 6-1 clip in the Greater Neuse Conference, as well as West Johnston’s first-ever trip to the state playoffs … Registered 468 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns as a senior, and caught 50 catches for 500 yards and eight touchdowns as a prep junior … Named all-conference after outstanding senior performance … A two-sport athlete at West Johnston, was also a 4-year letterwinner on the basketball team where he averaged 18.1 ppg in each of his last two seasons.

PERSONAL: The son of Peggy and Billy Harrington was born on May 22, 1989 … Has an older sister, Melaina … Uncle, Chris Thompson, played football at both Elon and The Citadel … Maintained a 3.0 cumulative grade point average at West Johnston High School and graduated in the top half of his 481-member senior class … Enrolled in pre-major studies at UNCP.
