2008 (SOPHOMORE): A second team selection to the ICAA and D2Football.com all-NCAA Independent squads … Started all 11 games for UNCP at left tackle … Integral part of offensive line that ranked 10th nationally in sacks allowed (1.0/game) … Saw 55 or more snaps against all 11 opponents, including a season-best 68 against Jacksonville and North Greenville … Also saw 60 or more snaps against three other opponents as well.

2007 (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): Started nine games for UNCP … Saw most of his action at left tackle, but made two starts at right tackle and one at right guard.

HIGH SCHOOL: A decorated lineman at David W. Butler High School for coach Mike Newsome … Earned second consecutive all-conference laurels as a prep senior after leading the Bulldogs to a 12-3 record and a spot in the state semifinals … Also earned team most outstanding offensive lineman honors at season’s end … Also lettered in wrestling and track for the Bulldogs.
