AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Played in nine games forUNCP … Recorded 10 receptions for 112 yards (11.2 avg.) andone touchdown … Also returned six punts for 28 yards (4.7avg.) … Registered a pair of catches for 22 yards againstWingate, while also returning two punts for 16 yards …Caught one pass for eight yards against Glenville State …Hauled in a pair of passes for 33 yards against Tusculum …Caught two passes for 10 yards at Charleston (W.Va.), while alsoreturning one punt for 13 yards … Had three catches for 39yards at Carson-Newman, including a season-long 20-yard scoringreception in the fourth quarter … Recorded a pair of puntreturns (eight yards) at Newberry, and returned one punt fornegative yardage in the season finale with West Liberty.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2010): Played in fivegames for UNCP … Caught one pass for five yards and returnedfour punts for eight yards … Hauled in a pass for afive-yard reception in season opener with Fayetteville State… Returned one punt against four opponents including SaintPaul’s (six yards), Wingate (one yard), Glenville State (twoyards) and Fairmont State (-1 yard).

AS A FRESHMAN (2009): Redshirted. Did not seevarsity action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Dudley High School forcoach Stephen Davis … Caught 32 passes for 611 yards andfour touchdowns as a prep senior in leading the Panthers to aperfect 16-0 record and their second consecutive state championship… Returned 12 kicks for 261 yards (21.8 avg.) and atouchdown, as well as returned 45 punts for 622 yards (13.8 avg.)and two more scores … Earned all-conference laurels atseason’s end … Scored one touchdown as a prepjunior.

PERSONAL: The son of Keisha and Sheldon Clegg wasborn on April 7, 1991 … Has two brothers, Fred and Derrick,and two younger sisters, Kamry and Kennedy … A broadcastingmajor at UNCP.
