AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2010): Played in twogames for UNCP … Accounted for one tackle (assist) at St.Paul’s.

2009 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted. Did not seevarsity action.

HIGH SCHOOL: A defensive stalwart for VictoryChristian Center and coach Frank Crockett … Amassed 72tackles (36 solo), 15 pass break-ups, a pair of interceptions andthree forced fumbles as a prep senior in leading the Kings to a 6-4record … Breakout campaign followed a junior campaign thatsaw him book 60 tackles (29 solo), seven pass break-ups, threeinterceptions and two forced fumbles in pacing VCC to a 7-3 clipand a semifinal appearance in the state playoffs … Astandout on the Kings basketball team as well, averaged 16.4points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals per game in grabbing all-stateaccolades, as well as an invitation to the Charlotte All-StarClassic, as a senior … Earned state tournament most valuableplayer, while also serving as team captain in both his junior andsenior years on the basketball court.
