HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at East Bladen High School for coach Lenon Fisher … Threw for 1,161 yards and 16 touchdowns on 67-of-126 passing in leading the Eagles to a 13-1 record … Earned second-straight all-conference and all-state laurels, as well as second consecutive player of the year accolades … Also named team most valuable player … Threw for 1,439 yards and 17 touchdowns as a prep junior, while also punting 25 times for a 36.1 average … Was also an all-conference standout in baseball for the Eagles.
