AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2010): Did not see varsity action.

BEFORE UNCP: Spent one season at Kent State, but redshirted and did not see varsity action ... Also spent one season at Hargrave Military Academy.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Southeast Raleigh High School for coach Daniel Finn … Recorded 112 tackles, two interceptions, a pair of forced fumbles and a sack in leading the Bulldogs to a 10-3 mark … Earned all-state accolades, as well as second-straight all-region and team defensive most valuable player laurels … Finished his career with 337 tackles, 15 interceptions, eight forced fumbles and three sacks … Also lettered in basketball and track at Southeast Raleigh, winning the state long jump title as a senior.

PERSONAL: The son of Laura Daniels was born on Jan. 4, 1989 … Has an older brother, Brian, and two older sisters, Ebony and Krystal … A business management major at UNCP.
