AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Played in all 11 gamesfor UNCP … Hauled in 13 catches for 153 yards (11.8yards/reception) and a pair of touchdowns … Also booked 13tackles (nine solo) as a standout special teams player …Registered two catches against four different opponents …Hauled in a pair of catches (12 yards) in the season-opening win atFayetteville State … Followed up that performance with twocatches for 28 yards against Chowan, including a 25-yard touchdownreception (season long) in second quarter … Also tallied twocatches in consecutive games with Glenville State (18 yards) andCatawba (season-best 33 yards) … Hauled in a 10-yardtouchdown pass in UNCP’s win at Charleston (W.Va.) for hisonly catch of the contest … Registered lone catches in finaltwo games of season against Winston-Salem State (nine yards) andWest Liberty (13 yards) … Booked two or more tackles onspecial teams against four opponents, including a season-high fourtackles (all solo) in the record-breaking win over Tusculum… Also tallied two tackles against Wingate, Carson-Newmanand West Liberty.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2010): Played in allseven games for UNCP … Caught five passes for 43 yards… Tallied first career pass reception (5 yards) at Wingate,and then registered a season-best two receptions for a season-high18 yards in the home rout of Carson-Newman … Also turned incatches at Glenville State (7 yards) and in the home contest withNorth Greenville (13 yards).

2009 (FRESHMAN): Redshirted. Did not seevarsity action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at East Rowan High Schoolfor coach Brian Hinson … Registered a school record 49receptions for a county-best 640 receiving yards and fourtouchdowns as a senior … Also rushed for 318 yards, as wellas amassed more than 800 return yards … Added two touchdownson kickoff returns … In addition, registered 95 tackles andtwo interceptions as a safety on the defensive side of the ball… Earned second consecutive all-county and all-conferencelaurels, as well as all area accolades, at season’s end… Led Mustangs to state playoff appearance as a junior… Was also an all-county and all-conference performer inbaseball at East Rowan.

PERSONAL: The son of Jeane and David Lowman wasborn on June 28, 1991 … Has an older sister, Ashley …Maintained a 4.3 cumulative grade point average at East Rowan HighSchool and graduated in the top 10 percent of his 300-member seniorclass … Enrolled in pre-major studies at UNCP.
