AS A SOPHOMORE (2013): A member of the PBC Presidential Honor Roll ... Played in 10 games for UNCP … Spent much of the season on listed No. 2 on the depth chart at left tackle … Integral part of an offensive line that allowed just 1.36 sacks/game (37th nationally) and paved the way for the nation’s 43rd-ranked total offense.

AS A FRESHMAN (2012): Played in four games for UNCP … Registered a tackle in the season finale at West Liberty.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Hoggard High School for coach Scott Braswell … Earned second consecutive all-conference laurels after helping to lead the Vikings to a 7-4 record and a spot in the state playoffs ... Anchored an offense that accounted for 26.3 points per game.

PERSONAL: The son of Crystal and Dean Bowles … Has an older sister, Nicole, and a younger sister, Abigail … Maintained a 4.13 cumulative grade point average at Hoggard High School and graduated in the top 23 percent of his 429-member senior class … An elementary education major at UNCP.
