AS A FRESHMAN AT KENTUCKY CHRISTIAN (2015): Played in eight games … Registered 41 tackles (21 solo), including 4-1/2 tackles for loss (-40 yards) … Turned in a season-best 11 tackles against both Cumberland (3 solo) and Cumberlands (5 solo) … Tallied a season-best six solo stops against Union … Turned in 1-1/2 tackles for loss against Cumberland (-8 yards), Cumberlands (-24) and Union (-8).

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Hickory Grove Christian School for coach Mike Pondo … Turned in 61 tackles as a senior to go along with two interceptions and six pass break-ups … Also grabbed a pair of sacks … Earned all-conference laurels as a junior for Carolina Pride High School and coach Michael Martin … Was also an all-conference basketball player at both schools.

PERSONAL: The son of Debra and Mike Martin … Has an older brother, Joshua, and a younger sister, Julia Faith … Maintained a 4.1 cumulative grade point average at Hickory Grove Christian School … A business management major at UNCP.
