BEFORE UNCP: Played two seasons (2015-16) at Louisburg College … Played in eight games as a sophomore and logged 18 tackles (15 solo), one interception and four pass break-ups … Played in four games as a freshman and registered six tackles (five solo) and a pass break-up.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Trinity Christian Academy for coach Verlon Dorminey … Logged 17 tackles and one interception as a senior, while also logging a pair of rushing touchdowns in pacing the Conquerors to a 12-1 record and the state championship … Turned in 10 tackles, one interception and a pass break-up as a junior … Also lettered in track & field at Trinity Christian Academy … 4x100-meter relay squad finished fifth at state meet as a junior.
