HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Monroe High School for coach Johnny Sowell … Earned a slew of postseason awards after rushing for 1,267 yards and 15 touchdowns on 209 carries … Also accounted for 342 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 22 catches … Turned in six 100-yard rushing games, including a 242-yard, 5-touchdown day against Forest Hills … Ran for 1,244 yards and 17 touchdowns as a junior, while also hauling in seven catches for 99 yards and an additional score … Led Redhawks to a 12-3 record and a spot in the state semifinals as a junior … Also lettered in track & field at Monroe.
