HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Anson Senior High School for coach Luke Hyatt … Registered 84 tackles (64 solo) as a prep senior, as well as two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery, en route to defensive most valuable player laurels … Also served as team captain for the Bearcats … Played in three games in an injury-shortened junior campaign.

PERSONAL: The son of Catherine and Kenny Johnson … Has an older brother, Kyle, and a younger brother, Ethan … An exercise & sports science major at UNCP.
