AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2013): Played in all 11 games for UNCP … Part of an offensive line that allowed just 1.37 sacks per game (37th/nationally) and paved the way for the nation’s 43rd-ranked total offense … Spent most of the season as the starter at center.

AS A FRESHMAN (2012): Redshirted … Did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at East Davidson High School for coach Bryan Lingerfelt … A two-year starter on the offensive line … Helped lead Golden Eagles to a state playoff appearance as a prep senior … Earned second consecutive all-conference and all-county laurels … A four-time scholar-athlete selection … Was also a standout on the wrestling and track & field teams at East Davidson … Finished second in the Heavyweight division in the 2A State Wrestling Tournament … Also earned scholar-athlete laurels as a prep athlete.

PERSONAL: The son of Sybil and Larry White was born on Dec. 1, 1993 … Has an older sister, Kristin … Maintained a 3.52 cumulative grade point average at East Davidson High School and graduated in the top 26 percent of his 199-member senior class … An environmental science major at UNCP.
