AS A SOPHOMORE (2019): Played in eight games … Totaled 16 tackles (11 solo), including 1-1/2 sacks (-15 yards). Catawba: Turned in a season-high five solo tackles … registered solo stops on consecutive plays amid Catawba’s last drive of the opening half … also made a pair of solo tackles on the opening drive of the second half for the Indians. Carson-Newman: Registered four tackles (3 solo) … made two solo stops on the initial drive of the second quarter for the Eagles. #13 Wingate: Assisted on two tackles. #4 Lenoir-Rhyne: Tallied three stops, including a pair of solo tackles … recorded tackles (1 solo) on consecutive plays amid a drive midway through the second quarter … also registered a solo tackle on special teams (kickoff) early in the third period. UVa.-Wise: Turned in two stops, both of which came via quarterback drops … combined with Masanka Kanku for a 6-yard sack in the third quarter … recorded a 12-yard sack on the final drive of the contest.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Myrtle Beach High School for coach Mickey Wilson … Earned first team all-region, all-zone and Toast of the Coast recognition as a senior after tallying 32 tackles, four interceptions and seven forced fumbles … Amassed 25 tackles as a junior … Also lettered in basketball and was an all-region performer in baseball for the Seahawks.
